Bison Topple Armada with Late Rally
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Quebec Armada home opener. Bruce Gaulton started for the home team against Jamie Hansen for the Buffalo Bison. The Armada were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 11-7, Buffalo. Dan Nieman, though, was impressive. The win was credited to Mike Waldrup in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Nick Cockrell took the loss.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Josh Bye to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bison on top, 11-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bye.
