The umbrellas came out during the Montreal-Pennsylvania contest at The Kaleidoscope.

The Pennsylvania Butterflies had their hands full with Montreal Mounties starter Owen Stegemann, who frustrated Pennsylvania hitters while leading Montreal to a comfortable, 6-1 win. Stegemann yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 7-9.

Montreal left fielder Joey Tripp helped the Mounties go up, 2-0, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Tripp hit a 2-run single off Pennsylvania pitcher Bobby Chavez.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes.

The second-place Mounties hiked their record to 48-39.
