Loachapoka starter Angel Zapata pitched well against the Bloomington Blazers at Arson Arena. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. At 85-59, the Junebugs are currently first in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

Angelo Hernandez went 2 for 4 with a triple for Loachapoka. The ten-time Gold Glove Award winner had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and a runner on 1st, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring triple off Mike Hursh. It was his 6th triple of the season.

"I'm proud to wear a Loachapoka jersey," Hernandez told the Loachapoka Daily News. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
