Beat Goes On for Millers, Win 6-3 Over Bison
|
Milwaukee pitcher Alejandro Munoz had a large part in his team beating the Bighorn Bison, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Hamilton Thomas earned the save for Milwaukee. With the win, Milwaukee elevates its record to 7-4.
Milwaukee first baseman Rodolfo Ollervides contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Millers ahead, 6-3.
"Alejandro had good life on his pitches," said Milwaukee manager John Smith.
