The home crowd had a good time watching the Hawaii Honu and Milwaukee Millers get after it.

Milwaukee picked up a win at The Mandalore Complex, toppling the Hawaii Honu, 7-3. Pitcher Emilio Salazar was one of the reasons the Millers triumphed. The winning pitcher was Salazar, now 10-9. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 10. The save went to Dan Harold, number 1 for him.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Andrew Bruett was at the plate when Milwaukee scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Millers to go in front, 3-2.

"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Salazar told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."

The second-place Millers have a record of 66-62.
