Cabo San Lucas Hangs 5-3 Loss on Montreal
Chris Hogan was instrumental in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Montreal Mounties. The third baseman went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. B.J. Bichler earned the win, while 24-year old right-handed pitcher Greg Spivey took the loss for Montreal. Victor Gonzalez was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

With Cabo San Lucas trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Hogan hit a curveball from Greg Spivey for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Toreros ahead, 4-1.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Hogan. "You've got to get results."

The loss has the Mounties at 10-6.
