Luchadores Stumble, Lose to Ridge Runners
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners weathered an outstanding game by Mexico City first baseman Kevin Stark to topple the Luchadores, 8-4. Stark was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Eagle Rock pitcher Evan Gerber earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Eric Lewis suffered the loss. The loss lowers the Mexico City record to 5-13.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alex Vidal? The Eagle Rock shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Ridge Runners on top, 3-0. For the game, Vidal had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
