The Chicago Eclipse rode a solid performance from 29-year-old starting pitcher Chris Titus to a win, beating the Eureka Hornets, 2-1, at Millennium Field. The win takes Chicago to 15-7.

Israel Cardenas, who finished 3rd in the RCL in stolen bases with 56 last year, helped out the Chicago cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 3 with a triple.

"Chris never lets off the gas," said Chicago manager Demetrio Recchia. "Good, bad, or ugly, he never gives in."
