Eclipse Get Hard-Earned Win
The Chicago Eclipse and Mexico City Luchadores played an entertaining game for Millennium Field patrons.

The Chicago Eclipse topped the Mexico City Luchadores, 5-4, at Millennium Field. Chicago second baseman Eli Neff was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Chicago reliever Jerry Bamberg picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Duane Alcock took the loss.

Chicago took a 5-4 lead on Miguel Benavides's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Benavides hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Mexico City pitcher Duane Alcock visibly frustrated.

"I feel honored to be a part of this team," said Neff.

With the loss, Mexico City falls to 9-13.
