Montreal left fielder David Alicea contributed to his team's 7-6 win over the Bloomington Blazers. Alicea, who is tied for 4th in the TML in runs scored with 14, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Mounties. The winner in relief was Angus Zorn. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Nathan Al-Assel sewed up the save, his 5th.

Montreal took a 7-6 lead on Alan Willer's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Bloomington pitcher Jim Kirby in the bottom of the eighth.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Alicea, "and go after the next one."

The loss drops Bloomington to 10-10.
