Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Alex Gonsalez, the Milwaukee Millers defeated the Buffalo Bison, 6-4. Gonsalez went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Millers. Emilio Salazar got the win, improving to 1-2. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 11 and walking 3. The loss puts Buffalo at 7-15.

In the top of the seventh inning, center fielder Cecil Sauls came through big-time for the Millers. With Milwaukee trailing 4-1, he belted a 3-run home run.
