Seattle Loses, 12-10, Despite Ballard Exploits
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Mark Ballard, the Seattle Sasquatch lost to the Maple Marauders, 12-10. Ballard went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4. The winner was Sam Scott in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dave Foster took the loss. The Sasquatch fall to 13-17 and continue their sputtering start to the 2065 season.

Efrain Ruiz took Seattle hurler Dave Recer deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run home run put the Marauders on top, 12-9. In all, Ruiz had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
