Eagle Rock Topples Walnut Creek, 7-3
With left fielder Dean Hrusovsky leading the charge, the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners defeated the Walnut Creek Warriors, 7-3, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Hrusovsky, who is tied for 10th in the RCL in total bases with 60, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Eagle Rock starter Willie Borrero was credited with the win after throwing 85 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. After losing, Walnut Creek is 18-9.
