The Bighorn Bison thumped the Vancouver Pioneers, 11-0, at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. Cody Ley was a big reason his team got the win. Ley went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 6. Vancouver falls to 16-14.

With Bighorn leading 8-0 in the top of the seventh, Ley batted against Vancouver pitcher Jose Calderon. Ley hit a fastball to center for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Bison on top, 11-0.

"Not the preferred outcome," Vancouver manager Naofumi Tanaka said, when asked afterward about the game.
