The home crowd had a good time watching the Eureka Hornets and Chicago Eclipse get after it.

Chicago starter Alberto Calderon pitched well against the Eureka Hornets at Millennium Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Chicago is second in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division with a record of 22-18.

Jason Bennett had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Eclipse. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Chicago trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Eureka skipper Juan Montés.
