|
Traverse City Beach Bums starter Nick Clark turned in a sterling performance against the Bighorn Bison, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. Picking up the save was Travis Crane, his 3rd. The first-place Beach Bums improved to 23-14.
Mario Rosales, who is tied for 5th in the RCL in runs scored with 21, helped out the Traverse City cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4 with a triple.
"Nick -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Beach Bums manager Aubert Licci. "He was the key to us winning."
