Blazers Lose By a Run at Montreal
Kiyomi Arai impressed in the 5-4 Montreal win over Bloomington. Arai, who is tied for 8th in the TML with a .413 on-base percentage, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Jim LeMay picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Jared Simms, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2055 draft, took the loss. Eric Wilkinson closed the game out for Montreal, earning his 11th save.

Cody Jaeger was 2-4 with 2 singles for Montreal. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Kevin Warby. It was his 7th RBI of the season.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Jaeger told the Montreal Herald.

Montreal now sports a record of 20-17.
