Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Junebugs
Angelo Hernandez led Loachapoka to a win over Traverse City. The final score was 5-3. Hernandez collected 3 RBI, while going 3 for 4 at the plate. The right fielder also scored 2 times. Loachapoka reliever Felipe Roybal picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kadidu Dajan absorbed the loss. Logan Evans picked up the save, his 2nd.

There was more than one reason the Junebugs beat the Beach Bums, but Hernandez's big at-bat in the top of the eighth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-3 lead when he hit a 2-run double.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Hernandez told the Loachapoka Observer.

With the win, Loachapoka elevates its record to 4-1.
