Cory Niendorf had a good game, but he could not keep the So Cal Republic from falling, 4-3, to the Loachapoka Junebugs at House of the Republic. The So Cal first baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once in the loss. The third-place Junebugs improved to 23-20.

Loachapoka used a well-timed hit by Marco Vittori to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Junebugs ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I was a little disappointed," said So Cal manager Aaron Barnes. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
