The West Island Jazz picked up a win at The Royal Grounds, taking down the Mexico City Luchadores, 5-3. Starting pitcher Manny Domenech was a big reason why. The Jazz move to 28-23 with the win, while the Luchadores drop to 23-27.

West Island used the hitting of Jake Haight to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Jazz on top, 3-1. For the game, Haight had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
