Honu Best Moonshiners in Pitching Duel
The Hawaii Honu and Asheville Moonshiners put on a pitchers' duel.

The Asheville Moonshiners got a sterling performance from pitcher Felix Garcia, but the Hawaii Honu still prevailed, 1-0. Garcia threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Their 21-26 record puts the Honu 5th in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

The Honu got a big at-bat from designated hitter Adam Hunt. For the game, Hunt was 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Hawaii a 1-0 lead.
