Stegemann Stars in 11-1 Montreal Win
The Montreal Mounties got a marvelous performance from pitcher Owen Stegemann. The right-hander kept the Walnut Creek offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 11-1 Montreal victory at Mount Royal Grounds. The win for the Mounties raised their record to 42-19.

Stegemann's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 4 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 3 hits. Stegemann, who finished 2nd in the RCL in wins with 19 in 2052, goes to 10-2 on the year with 46 strikeouts.

"Because of Owen, we won that ballgame," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez.
