Mulhollan, Ridge Runners Too Much for Blazers
Ron Mulhollan, who finished 3rd in the RCL in stolen bases with 50 last year, led Eagle Rock to a win over Bloomington. The final score was 11-5. Mulhollan collected 2 runs batted in, while going 4 for 4 at the plate. The shortstop also scored 2 times. Steve Brignola, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. The win elevated the Ridge Runners to 34-32.

Mulhollan broke a deadlock in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Eagle Rock up, 6-5.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Mulhollan told the Eagle Rock Today. "But we take nothing for granted."
