Kelowna starter Matt Pahomes had a strong outing against the Niagara Stars at Brantford College Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Earning his 12th save for Kelowna was Carter Yeo. Kelowna now has a 3-game win streak.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Heat were trailing 1-0. Jason Frizzell delivered a two-out 2-run double for Kelowna, catapulting his team into the lead.
