The Bloomington Blazers coasted to a win over the West Island Jazz, 10-3. Mark Coppage had a good day at the plate for Bloomington. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Bloomington now sports a record of 46-33.

Early in the game, designated hitter Taylor Nunley had a 2-run home run for Bloomington. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Blazers on top, 2-0.

Bloomington manager Scott Andrews was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
