The Buffalo Bison picked up a win at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, courtesy of Jason Goodrich. The right-hander helped his team stop the Montreal Mounties, 3-2. Buffalo currently is in third place in the Thurman Munson League East Division at 41-38.

Buffalo got a clutch hit from Devin Staples. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

Goodrich described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
