The Cabo San Lucas Toreros handed the Quebec Armada a sound defeat, 11-1, at Field de Los Layendas. Chris Hogan, the 4th overall pick in the 2060 draft, was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for Cabo San Lucas. B.J. Bichler got credit for the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 7.2 innings. Jimmy Sherry picked up the save, his 3rd.

Had Ron Mulhollan not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Mulhollan hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Toreros.

Said losing manager Ramu Pavi: "We need to play with more of an edge."
