Walnut Creek Trades Ndegwa to Montreal for Cordova Monday, September 3rd , 2057 Fans in Walnut Creek woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 25-year old RHP Wolde-Selassie Ndegwa and a 6th round draft pick to the Montreal Jazz. In return, the Warriors will receive 20-year old minor league 3B Pablo Cordova and 19-year old minor league RHP Riley Adams. Walnut Creek will retain a portion of Ndegwa's remaining contract. This season Ndegwa has worked 25.2 innings in 12 relief appearances and picked up 4 saves. He has dished out 31 strikeouts and walked 5 with a 0-2 mark and a 2.45 ERA. |
