Postseason Bid Ends for Cabo San Lucas Tuesday, September 25th , 2057 The Cabo San Lucas Toreros may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Toreros manager Bob Alexander said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." The Toreros have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 46 years as a ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 13th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. Cabo San Lucas last won the ABL Championship in 2043. |
