Milwaukee-San Francisco Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, September 26th , 2057 After an intense confrontation, both the Millers Juan Luna and the Earthquakes Luis Uresti were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Milwaukee-San Francisco game. Juan Luna will miss 5 games, while Luis Uresti was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Juan Luna commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Luna is batting .230 with 29 home runs and 59 RBIs. For the season Uresti has logged 8 wins and 8 losses and struck out 143 batters in 139 innings while compiling a 3.76 ERA. |
