Eureka's Dollar Suspended Wednesday, September 26th , 2057 Hassle an umpire and you will have to pay the consequences. Just ask Eureka shortstop George Dollar. He argued to excess over a third strike yesterday in the Eureka-Buffalo game at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Today the league office notified Dollar that he had been given a 4-game suspension for his egregious conduct. Luckily the Hornets manager and the bench coach intervened physically and removed him from the field. Otherwise it might have gotten even worse. So far this season Dollar is batting .206 with 9 home runs. |
