But for now the young Kansas City Tornadoes star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the Thurman Munson League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .364 average with 11 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. So far this season, Tapia has recorded a .261 batting average with 156 hits, 44 home runs, 95 RBIs, 77 runs scored and a .323 OBP. |
