Eureka Blanks Houghton, 9-0 Monday, October 1st , 2057 Eureka Hornets fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Israel Valensuela blanked the Houghton Gremlins, 9-0 at Golden Goebels Park today. Valensuela stopped them on 5 hits while walking 3 and striking out 4. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Hornets skipper Danny Sanchez said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
