The Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division club have battled to the bitter end and have come up with a wild card berth. "It's satisfying to clinch the playoffs so late in the season," said starting pitcher Franklin Cruz. "You start to doubt yourself and wonder if you can even make it." But the Stogies have in fact made it, with their 87-74 record holding up to now give them a chance at the franchise's 5th ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. |
