Gerardo Lara Named Premier RAA Player

The future looks extremely bright for Gerardo Lara. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in DOUBLE A.
Lara has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the RCL AA Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .286 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Moose Jaw Canucks star also put up a .390 on-base percentage this year, with 122 hits, 18 doubles, 1 triple, 37 home runs, 95 RBIs and 89 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 28. Tyler Pate of the Beaumont Drillers finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Biagio Strambi of the Pacifica Shamrocks finished third with 11 first place votes.
