Bridgman TA Selection for 2057 Most Valuable Player Award

Sam Bridgman took SINGLE A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 18.
For his spectacular campaign, the Baltimore Magicians star has been named the 2057 TML A Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .334 batting average to go with a .413 on-base percentage. The native of New Bedford, Massachusetts also added 27 doubles, 5 triples, 23 home runs, 75 RBIs and 92 runs scored.
He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 28. Drew Toney of the Oconomowoc Five O's finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Igider Erevu of the Ocala Knights finished third.

Chris Cortez Captures RA Most Valuable Player Award

He may have less experience than most of his SINGLE A peers, but that didn't slow Chris Cortez down at all in 2057.
At the age of 22, the Niagara Falls shortstop has been named the winner of the RCL A Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .314 batting average and a .416 on-base percentage this year. In 154 games he piled up 180 hits, 39 doubles, 5 triples, 22 home runs, 86 RBIs and 110 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 28. Jorge Peralta of the Niagara Falls Barrels finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Marc Stephens of the Brisbane Bush Wackers finished third with 4 first place votes.
