Panthers Handed 12-6 Loss by Warhawks
|
Seminole second baseman D.J. Bratta contributed significantly to his team's 12-6 win over the Pleasantville Panthers. Bratta, who leads the HALL in triples with 6, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Warhawks. The win was credited to John Burkhardt in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Mike Babey took the loss. The win puts the Warhawks at 26-21, while the Panthers drop to 23-24.
Seminole used the hitting of Kyle Egerton to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Warhawks on top, 2-0. For the game, Egerton had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Egerton told the Seminole Bulletin.
