Vanstone hits 2 home runs in Tigers Win
Tioga Central designated hitter Mike Vanstone had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Derby Panthers, 8-7. Tioga Central pitcher Jimmy Johnson got the win, upping his record to 4-0. Mike Morgan got the loss. Bobby Richey recorded his 8th save for Tioga Central.

Tioga Central took the lead, 8-6, on Chris Kittrell's 21st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Derby pitcher Vince Ayers in the bottom of the seventh.

"Ah," said Vanstone in a jubilant clubhouse, "the sweet smell of victory!."

The Tigers, at 19-30, sit in last place in the Pete Rose Little League Roger Clemens Division.
