The Jefferson Indians beat the Seminole Warhawks by a score of 9-6. Jefferson left fielder Bryan Sartor deserved the lion's share of the credit. Sartor went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 3 times for the Indians. Donnie Owens sewed up the save, his 5th. The 5th-place Indians now have a win-loss record of 24-26.
Gil Greene broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the fourth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Indians in front, 5-4. For the game, Greene went 1 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.
