Though he had a terrific game, Mark Carrozza could not prevent his team, the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, from absorbing a loss. Jacksonville won the game, 11-5. Carrozza was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. B.J. Tourtelotte, who finished 4th in the TML in strikeouts with 157 in 2061, was the winner. He's now 5-6. The loser was B.J. Bichler. Patrick Greathouse, who is a two-time All-Star, nailed down the save.

Making an impact for Jacksonville was first baseman Luis Velez. 2058 BD drilled a 2-run home run off B.J. Bichler in the bottom of the first. For the game, Velez was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
