The Syracuse Orange Sox firmly defeated the Easton Caterpillars, 16-3, at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. The Syracuse offense was lit. Jairo Soto, for one, had a solid game. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Orange Sox. Syracuse now has a record of 3-0.

Soto got the Orange Sox off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Said Easton manager Mekonnen Asani after the blowout loss: "They did pretty much every facet of the game better than we did and that's why we lost."
