Savannah Gets 9-3 Win
The Savannah Peaches trumped the Paradise Island Pirates, 9-3, at Predator Park. Savannah catcher Daniel Aquilar was terrific. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Tony Navarro picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Sergio Reyes suffered the loss. Savannah sits at 4-1.

In the top of the sixth, Savannah second baseman Luis Arias had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Arias stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 8-3, Savannah. For the game, he went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Aquilar told the Savannah Daily.
