The Buffalo Bison defeated the Quebec Armada, 10-0. Right Fielder Jonathan Schimmel deserved a large share of the credit. Schimmel went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Bison. The victory gives Buffalo a record of 43-42.

Jason McLane had a big grand slam home run for the Bison in the bottom of the first inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Victor Favela, who is tied for 6th in the RCL with a 4.15 ERA, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 9th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 6-0.

Said losing manager Rod Cirilo: "At the end of the day, we've got to play better."
