Matt Lopas, who leads the TML in quality starts with 10, had a strong outing for the Montreal Mounties against the Huntington Station Ramrods at Station Center Yard. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Jim LeMay collected his 15th save. Montreal is now 50-24, while Huntington Station is 27-47.

Montreal used the timely hitting of Aaron Renn to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mounties on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez.
