The Montreal Mounties beat the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 4-2, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Montreal second baseman Cody Jaeger, who finished 3rd in the TML in runs with 128 last year, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 1 run batted in. Bill Wolfe wrapped it up, recording his 11th save. The first-place Mounties bumped their record to 85-55.

Jaeger had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 cutter from Justin Bissey, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Mounties a 3-2 lead. It was the 31st double of the year for Jaeger.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez.
