Cabo San Lucas got a terrific game from center fielder Bryan Bircher. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Bighorn, 5-4. Bircher was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Zach Phillips, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in wins with 11, was the winner in relief. His record is now 11-3. The losing pitcher was Charlie Doane. Today's win puts Bighorn at 63-78, while Cabo San Lucas falls to 73-68.

Tom Clingan was the walk-off hero for Bighorn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bison center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Clingan said.
