The Frobisher Bay Caribou blasted the Easton Caterpillars, 15-4. Fernando Cruz was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Frobisher Bay. Frobisher Bay pitcher Ivan Vaiz got the win. He's now 1-1. David Falconi had a big 2-run double for the Caribou in the bottom of the first inning. With Frobisher Bay trailing 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos Luera and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Caribou ahead, 3-2.

Cruz said: "We didn't really let up all day. We kind of kept going and going."
