The Buffalo Bison picked up a win at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, dropping the Seattle Sasquatch, 5-2. Ben Molter was the difference-maker. Molter picked up the win for Buffalo, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-6. The save was credited to Gary Halliwell, his 26th.

Jonathan Schimmel had a big 2-run home run for the Bison in the bottom of the third inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Joey Virgona and punished it. The result was his 23rd home run of the season, which put the Bison on top, 4-0.

Schimmel said his team "played with determination."

With the victory, the Bison upped their record to 76-65.
