The Rockville Rangers firmly defeated the Easton Caterpillars, 19-3, at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. The Rockville offense was lit. Randy Nash, for one, had a solid game. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2 for the Rangers. Rockville, at 11-3, has sizzled in the early going.

Alfonso Rivas, who is tied for 6th in the RR in home runs with 5, took Easton hurler Jesus Gomez deep in the bottom of the second. His 3-run home run put the Rangers on top, 3-0. In all, Rivas had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.
