The 2064 season is getting uglier for Easton.

The Carrollton Rangers dumped the Easton Caterpillars, 8-5, in large part due to shortstop Juan Ledezma. On the day, Ledezma went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Rangers. Easton, at 2-19, has had a dismal start to the season.

The Rangers got a big boost from second baseman Ernesto Cervantes who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Caterpillars hurler Carlos Luera. It was his 19th walk of the season and put Carrollton on top, 1-0.

"Not the sexiest win," said Rangers manager Hung-chang Chao, "but I'll take it."
